BMI Blackheath Hospital is in Southeast London in Lewisham and has 60 beds, an endoscopy suite, a fully equipped physiotherapy department, high dependency unit and imaging facilities.

McLoughlin Decorating were awarded the contract to complete decorations to all external doors, windows, masonry, and metal work.

The surfaces were prepared prior to priming and undercoating and all exposed brick work was washed down using Johnstones sterilisation wash.

Our supply chain partners erected and dismantled full scaffolding, which was double boarded, fully netted, and alarmed.

Johnstones products were used throughout including: Storm Shield in Black, Magnolia and Cloudy Day for the masonry; Undercoat and Gloss in White for the windows; Smooth Metal Shield in Black for the metal work; Wood Stain in Rose Wood for the wood panels and Clear Varnish for the entrance doors.
All paints are applied to the suitably prepared surfaces using traditional brush and roller methods in accordance with the specification.

All operatives are fully qualified with CSCS cards and Asbestos awareness certificates.

Works were completed to the highest standard with the hospital staff and patients’ needs in mind at all times.
