McLoughlin Decorating won a small job for Gilbert Ash applying an anti-graffiti coating to timber hoarding around a hotel building site.
The hoarding had been severely graffitied and needed a robust solution not only to get rid of the graffiti but to also maintain it, keeping the graffiti to a minimal.
We used a product called Recoat from a company called Sustainable Coating Solutions, based in Holland.
First step was to apply the recoat primer in white over the graffitied timber followed by the anti-graffiti glaze topcoat.
The treated surface is permanently protected against not only graffiti but dirt and water, and if subject to graffiti again can be quickly removed.
