McLoughlin decorating worked directly with the City of London Corporation to transform this drab looking Estate into a vibrant new living space and to brighten up the community centre on the estate, which is used to hold events and parties all year round for the residents. The estate comprises of 275 flats across four blocks.

The transformation was created through the application of floor coatings to previously uncoated granolithic floors in the communal areas and the staircases. The redecoration consisted of a full fire upgrade, covering walls and ceilings in the communal areas and staircases, along with changing doors and frames to comply with fire regulations.

An anti-graffiti system was bought in from Holland and applied to all staircases so they can be easily maintained in the future. As this was being purchased from Holland it had to be shipped via a ferry and delivery could take some time. However, with some forward thinking this did not affect out deadline and the project was therefore completed on time.

The renovation of the estate achieved outstanding client and resident satisfaction and we are delighted with the outcome.
